Booking
How do I book?
Choose your dates on the accommodation's page: the quote is calculated automatically. Send your request; Pascale accepts it, then you receive the contract. The booking is confirmed once the signed contract and the deposit have been received.
Can I book fewer than 5 nights?
Short stays (fewer than 5 nights) are to be booked on Airbnb.
How far in advance must I book?
At least one week before your arrival. For an earlier arrival, write to us. One night is left free between two stays, for cleaning.
How much does a stay for a spa cure cost?
The rate for 21 nights, the length of a cure, ranges from €750 (Clochette, low season) to €1,390 (La Licorne, high season). See the Prices page.
Is there a discount if I come back?
Yes: 10% off the rent for a cure of 21 nights or more, if you have already done a cure at Résidence La Rome or at La Licorne.
Are my dates held while I wait for the answer?
Yes, until Pascale (or Alice) answers.
Can I change my request?
Yes, as long as it has not been accepted, with the link you received by email. After that, contact Pascale (or Alice).
When must I send the contract and the deposit?
You have 20 days after your request is accepted to confirm your booking by returning the signed contract and paying the deposit. The exact deadline is given in your emails; otherwise, the booking is not confirmed and the dates are released.
Paying
How much must I pay when booking?
A deposit of one third of the rent (excluding tourist tax and cleaning). The balance and the tourist tax are paid when the keys are handed over or, if I am not there (key box), within 48 hours of arrival at the latest.
Which payment methods?
Cheque, bank transfer, cash or Wero, for the deposit as for the balance.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, €500 by cheque when the keys are handed over (or, if I am not there, within 48 hours of arrival at the latest), returned within 7 days after departure (within 2 months at most if a deduction is made).
Is the tourist tax included?
No, it is added: about 7.2% of the rent for Clochette, Ondine and Rosélia; €1.17 per night and per adult for La Licorne. Under-18s are exempt. The exact amount is shown in your quote.
Are utilities included?
Yes: water, electricity, heating.
Can I have an invoice for my health insurance?
Yes: the receipted invoice is sent to you as soon as the balance is paid.
Do I need insurance?
Yes: you must be insured for any damage you might cause to the accommodation or to the neighbours (fire, water damage, breakage). This cover, known in France as « villégiature », is usually included in your home insurance: check with your insurer and, if your policy requires it, tell them about your stay. We will ask you for an insurance certificate, issued less than a month earlier, on the day of your arrival at the latest. Bank card and booking platform insurance rarely covers it.
Is the security deposit cheque cashed?
No: if the check-out inspection is satisfactory, you are informed by email: without a reply from you within 3 days, it is destroyed without having been cashed; if you prefer to get it back, it is returned to you by post. In case of damage, it is cashed, unless you compensate the owner in another way.
Cancelling
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, your deposit is refunded in full, with no proof required, within 14 days. If you cancel 30 days or less before arrival, or do not show up, the owner keeps the deposit, and any amount paid on top of the deposit is refunded to you. If the owner cancels, whatever the date, they refund you twice the deposit within 14 days. In case of force majeure, the sums paid are refunded to you, with no compensation on either side. Any cancellation must be notified in writing (letter or email).
What if my cure is cancelled or postponed?
If your cure is postponed, on proof (certificate from the Thermes or medical certificate), the deposit already paid is carried over to your new dates, if they are free and within 12 months. A cancellation without postponement, 30 days or less before arrival, is not refunded.
What happens if I arrive several days late?
Let us know: your accommodation stays booked for your whole stay. Missed nights are neither refunded nor added at the end of the stay; if the following dates are free, you can however book them as extra nights. With no news at all from you two days after the planned arrival date, the booking is considered cancelled: the deposit is kept and the accommodation may be let again.

Can I arrive the day before my cure?
